Tres Leches Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups crushed graham crackers or Maria cookies
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 24 oz (675g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp flour (helps with texture)
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Whipped cream
  • Cinnamon powder or fresh berries (optional)

Instructions
 

Make the Crust

  • Mix crushed cookies, melted butter, and sugar.
  • Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan.
  • Bake for 8 minutes at 325°F (160°C), then let it cool.

Prepare the Cheesecake Filling

  • Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing slowly.
  • Add sour cream, vanilla, and flour. Mix until combined.
  • Pour the mixture over the crust.

Bake the Cheesecake

  • Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 45–55 minutes.
  • The center should be slightly jiggly, not liquid.
  • Turn off the oven, leave the cheesecake inside for 1 hour to avoid cracks.
  • Cool fully at room temperature.

Add the Tres Leches Milk

  • Mix all three milks in a bowl.
  • Poke gentle holes into the cheesecake using a wooden skewer.
  • Slowly pour the milk mixture over the cheesecake so it absorbs evenly.
  • Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight for best texture.

Add Whipped Cream & Serve

  • Spread whipped cream on top before serving.
  • Light dusting of cinnamon or fresh strawberries adds a nice finish.
